Diff oil - needs change or not ?

BTW, the smell was so bad my neighbour asked if there was a gas leak.

I copped some on the arm of my jumper when undoing the drain bolt.

Ended up just scrapping the jumper

Of all the fluid in our VF’s, diff oil is by far the worst smell!

We have one, never used it on a diff but no reason it shouldn't work.

yes have one but takes ages, i got a big 1L syringe to fill it then u just pump it in faster, much quicker for doing the 4L in the trans too

They fit directly onto their bottles, much better than having to fill a bottle and then pump that into whatever.

I used a mower servicing pump, essentially a large syringe. But might invest in one of those Penrite units at some stage.
