I am planning to do a service on my new (used) Sportwagon 2010 VE S2 and thinking about what other items I should be getting done while its up on the hoist.
There is brake shudder when putting foot down so I am thinking about replacing front brakes and rotors.
The car has 120,000kms on it...
That actually makes a lot of sense to me clubby. I will follow that as it sounds easier to stick to than always checking the kms and month to know when next to service. I think I am going to aim for every six months and checking it doesn't go over 7500kms between services. Hopefully all will be...
I purchased it privately but the guy had it serviced at a local dealer. I may try ring them and see if it was just missed stamp , although I doubt it for some reason. They did sign and stamp both the 75, 000 and 90, 000 services but on the same day, when they did the 90, 000km service.
Cheers I had a look and it was pretty clean. There was a very fine thin amount of dirt build up in the outer rim of the oil cap, I think it's just a bit of dirt. But nothing on the inner where the oil cap is open to the engine. I will change at 7500 from now on.
I recently purchased a used Commodore VE Sportswagon VE Series 2 and only after purchasing and going through the log books again I have realised that they have not stamped the 75,000kms service. The two services done in between were at 63,000kms and then 88,000kms. Which is about 25,000kms...
Hi guys, I am wondering how can you actually confirm with a 2010 VE Sportswagon Series 2 what the actual transmission is whether it is 4 speed or 6 speed? And which is better? Going to look at one later today. Cheers.
Hi guys, I have recently purchased a used 09 Omega Sportswagon for my wife.it was ex lease and has 130,000kms on it.very well serviced and drives quite nicely. The only issue we have found with it is that the ride quality and Comfort could be improved upon compared to some of the other cars we...
When I purchased this car I wanted to make sure I got the cleanest VY II I could find and I searched high and low. The car was in exceptional condition, both inside and out. I hadnt seen one before in such good overall condition. After I bought it I installed the Advance Headers, got the Duspeed...
Clarion is a very reputable brand and they also make some pretty high end audio products so I wouldnt discount them. I used to work in Strathfield car radios and our manager had 6 JL Audio subs running from a clarion head unit - it kicked the alpine units asses and sounded crystal clear.
If I...
I bought a pioneer double din with GPS + Bluetooth for under $499 from JB-HIFI and that was a year ago.. I am sure there are cheaper better units now. I would recommend getting a well known brand - it will be like the face of your car that you see everyday when you are driving it - dont cheap out!
