You're right but what I was talking about was what you got like exhaust, CAI or OTR and tune. This is what I meant as similar but they all quote different power output.

I honestly wouldn't be so set on upgrading if the interior trim was all black like the series 1 SSV or the series 2 Redline without the stupid cream colour. But I also want the 6.2 if I'm totally being honest.

My 2013 Redline keeps redialling my wife's mobile every time the 6plus connects to mylink via Bluetooth. I'm assuming at some stage a firmware upgrade to mylink will fix that.

There's a big difference between an SSV and an SSV Redline which this Lowndes edition really is. You won't get a Redline in manual form for under $49K.

Wish this was available in November when I bought mine.

Most definately there is and it comes on quicker and really pins you back. The exhaust growl when you put the foot down is like a jizz fest.

To get the full benefits yes I think so.

I didn't get the OTR because I came across a few threads on the net with people saying that the OTR used is an old VCM one and the openings to let the air in aren't like all the new OTR's and it doesn't get the air in as good although it would be better than the side mount CAI the package comes...

The wheels on a standard SS or SV6 are horrible I can't believe how many I see drive on the poo stock wheels.

Well I got the W310 fitted and just got home and man is it great. Like driving a brand new car but I asked for the OTR but they fitted the side mount air box so I have to wait for the boss to get back to get the OTR. On holidays now for two weeks and I will be driving the car heaps.

They've arrived at some dealers today according to a salesman on the SS owners club page on Facebook. He showed a pic of the dash just above the glovebox it has the storm lettering and it's not the velvety material we currently have.

Yes I realise that and I have more or less thought the exact same thing but while its under warranty I won't do anymore than the W310 even though I'd love to go all out today. But the W457 is definitely on the horizon once warranty is gone.
