Looks like iv'e been backed into or screwed in the backside by some ar$e wipe so the next question is does anyone know any good tips on fixing or am i up for a new bumper and spray ????

Yeah Mate As soon as you pull the key apart the transponer head looses it's memory and has to be re programed by a locksmith or a holden dealer, Being a locksmith i see this reguarly. A new transponder head can cost between $50 and $90 Coded to your car

I am having the same problem at the moment in my VT. Apparently the V6 has a crank angle sensor but the V8 doesn't ? so holden are stumped as to why mine is doing but they said if it was a V6 then the CAS would be the problem so maybe that's yours ????? the other things to check are sometimes...

I personally think the VT's are awsome and look good with little mods. They look grouse low so the rims and then dump it - my first thoughts. Then the overall look eg. tint and maybe bodykit although when they are low without wings and kits the VT's look really sleek and good but up to you. Then...
