Nah it stretches good man and they clip in just at the top where the tonneau gets clipped to the body sorry for no pics as my ute got totalled by some ####head

If you have a load that won't fit under the tonneau you can clip those clips into where the tonneau cover locks into so you don't have to have it flapping about

Not related but that placard has a typo in maximum weight pressure for the rear haha

How low is your seat? as the trim squeaks together when it's too low. Happened in my series 1 ute and sedan, hopefully the same problem as yours, you can trim the trim back a tad till it doesn't rub on eachother and you should be golden.

I had a series 2 tailgate for some reason and it had a hole already in it for the cable to come out of, if not just drill it, a 90 degree drill chuck works well I found on my sedan when installing one, I can link a pic tomorrow night after work

The way I did it was to uni the tub liner which is a 5 min job, the six tie downs and two screws at the tailgate, slide it back and you can see the grommets from that side!!!!! Easier than taking apart interior, pro tip use a yellow tongue strip to get the cables between said areas hope this helps

The new mid section and rear cans are on it now but they are the ones that sit cockeyed, the hanger is still shaped the same and sits the same, possibility the cats piping is bent aswell?

she hit me that hard the exhaust was pushed back under the bumper itself :( I don't think that bracket/hanger is meant to be like that at all, hence the questions

i changed mine to castrol dex3 and she is smooth as, only done 50k km in 5 years but it came out black on the first flush and it took another 2 flushes to get it good :)

My 2010 ve ss manual with tremec tr6060 is making a weird metallic sorta noise only sometimes when I downshift and rev match, clutch all the way to the floor, it's happened in all gears. Going to change gearbox oil to some castrol Dex 3 atf. Thinking maybe the clutch isn't fully disengaging...
