Radiator fans always on high with AC. Never shuts off.

Actually had a problem with the temp sensor before. Its connector and the sensor itself were so damaged that the car stalled on me while I was driving. Replaced both the loom and the sensor thankfully. Unfortunately (or fortunately I guess) the fans run on high constantly whenever I turn on the...

Radiator fans always on high with AC. Never shuts off.

I wish you could guys feel how hot it gets and how long the fans keep running. This is definitely not normal. One thing I tested out of spite was to disconnect the compressor pressure switch while the AC was on. Absolutely nothing happened, the AC kept working as if nothing happened. I'll try...

Radiator fans always on high with AC. Never shuts off.

The thing is I read somewhere that they're supposed to turn off if the pressure reached a certain number or the car reached a certain speed. They don't. Ever. Even if I was driving for hours on a highway they never turn off. I'm pretty sure that's not how they should be working.

Radiator fans always on high with AC. Never shuts off.

So as I said in the title, both my radiator fans on my Commodore VXII SS are always on and on high speed when I turn on the AC. They only shut off a few seconds after I turn the AC off. I cannot use the AC like this, because the fans will definitely burn out, and the fans loom connector gets...

    Dreading LS1 Misfire!

I did replace the TPS and the ICA and their connectors, and the O2 sensors have been deleted with the cat converter long ago I just disconnected the MAF sensor and drove the car. It still misfires a little bit but not as much, and it does feel wacky and heavy when going full throttle, but not...

    Dreading LS1 Misfire!

Update. As far as the condition of the plugs, all of them seemed to look the same, while one or two looked a bit better and less sooty. And the loom and the vacuum hoses are inspected and don't seem to change anything when wiggled I tested both the injectors and their wirings, and they're all...

    Dreading LS1 Misfire!

Replaced not long ago. I'm pretty sure the problem is either with the fuel pump or the injectors with their connectors. I would do a fuel pressure test, but I don't have an access to a tester. Although the engine did run slightly better when I removed the air intake and disconnected the MAF...

    Dreading LS1 Misfire!

The air filter is as clean as it gets. The engine is dusty af cuz, yes, I'm in Saudi Arabia, and in a suburb area. I can't clean that engine properly without risking shorting the exposed wirings.

    Dreading LS1 Misfire!

TB and MAF have been cleaned recently, and I reinspected the PCV hoses even though they're relatively new, they're all good.

    Dreading LS1 Misfire!

Update. I replaced both the wires and plugs, didn't help one bit. Although the plugs were covered in black soot and two had a small hairline crack. These are TR6IX iridium plugs. I'm beginning to suspect that it's either the bad wiring for the injectors are making them go haywire, or that...

    Dreading LS1 Misfire!

Although I suspected the spark plugs and wires, they're relatively new. They're almost 3 years old only and have been driven for 20k or so miles. So far I've tested the coils by removing the plug and putting a screwdriver near it, and they produce a spark. And I've listened to the fuel...

    Dreading LS1 Misfire!

Hello. My VX SS has a terrible misfire with a rough idle that is throwing no codes. Here are a few things I've noticed. 1: car starts right up, so I don't think that the fuel pump is bad 2: when it's idling rough and I try to press on the pedal, sometimes a loud popping noise comes out of...

How to Install TX Valve To Drier Tube

Hello. I had an AC refrigerant leak coming from this particular tube. I found that it was leaking from one of its bends. I removed the old tube simply removing the bolt from the TX Valve and from the Drier, then it broke in half from the weak spot. It was all good until I couldn't figure out...

Problem with the Coolant temp sensor's connector

Thanks guys. It turns out that the wire was the source of all my troubles. I replaced it with a new ACDelco wire and connector and the problem seems to have disappeared.

Problem with the Coolant temp sensor's connector

So I'll try to explain my problem in as much detail as possible I recently discovered that the coolant temp sensor was broken, it was throwing a code (I didn't see the code myself, the mechanic did). So I found that the sensor itself broke where it attaches to the connector. I changed the...

    VX SS Radiator replacement suggestions

Hello, my radiator has kicked the bucket due to a dumbass mechanic using tap water when he refilled the radiator (had to replace the crank balancer pulley), so now I'm in the market for a new radiator. I've considered Mishimoto radiator but I've heard people saying that the fans won't be...
