I've got my amp mounted on the left hand side wheel well, which doesn't get in the way when i have my seats folded down. But i haven't tried sleeping next to it though. Cheap apple gear

As you can see they're refurbed so that means the units have gone back to apple, they have checked them out and then they are selling them off cheap to get rid of them. You still get the one year warranty.

    CFA Volunteer

I'm in the CFS over here and it's a great experience. You get to learn a whole heap of great stuff you think is pretty unimportant at the time but when the time comes that you need it it's good to know. "become very accustomed to the phrase "hurry up and wait"" that's always great, we've...

    Can anyone help identify this?

Don't know where the box came from. Our old local deliver service from adelaide was very **** when it came to remembering where gear had to go if the delivery docket was lost. There is/was no info on either the original carton, which has now perished, or on the part itself. I am not the...

    Can anyone help identify this?

As the title says can anyone help to identify this part. I've tried asking a fair few of my customers, farmers, if they know what it is or where it might come from. The top blue part is steel, the yellow body is plastic and the foot is stainless steel. The foot has a hinge and two bolt holes...

    Just to say G'Day

Neither wagon man, i've mainly had the 240 Blitz when i've needed spotlights. What i should have added was if you want and can justify BIG spotties the HID **** all over the XGT. Very lucky driver. I'm in the CFS and if thats what i saw when i got to the scene i'd usually be getting the tarp out to cover the body or bodies. Not only do the paramedics have to see these scenes, and they are the paid ones, you have all of the volunteers as well CFS, SES and ambulance...

Poking hole in rubber grommet for power lead

i've got mine in the back for now, still tossing up where to mount it but thinking of making a shelf to sit on the wheel wells and secure it to there. It depends on how much you use the back. Also less chance of it getting kicked and knocked around when sliding the seat back and forward.

Poking hole in rubber grommet for power lead

i just took the clutch grommet out and drilled a hole with a 8mm drill bit. It closed up very nicely around 8ga power cable. Just chuck a bit of vas or lube on the hole to get the cable through.

    What's your job?

Rural merch sales. I work for a franchise of a large australia wide company, Landmark. Basically deal with farmers and listen to them complain about how there's not enough rain, to much rain, to hot, to cold, spray cost to much, and any other **** they are unhappy with.

    Headlight upgrade

yeah i would chuck a realy in there. also do you need the low beam to be that high, i run 100/55 in my vx and they're fine. I used to have 100/90 in my VN, even though they were great i would still get lots of people flashing me coming the other way as they are a lot brighter than standard lows.
