It’s a VZ Executive brother, didn’t think I was that lucky lol

I call rubbish my mates VT v6 Calais manual and my mates VY v6 auto along with my VZ v6 auto cackle on decel with downshifting

From my understanding it’s just a basic executive VZ with sv6 front and rear lip, the dark blue paint goes purple in the sunlight. Me and a mate have come down to a possible showroom model being the Sedan, Ute and Wagon showroom model for example 1/3-2/3-3/3?

Ahh yes those to sorry second conversion as I converted my old EL Sapphire to a T5 but was interested in doing getrag to Buick as I’ve heard so many T5 to ecotec etc

Yeah I’ve got two getrag and want to convert my VR Calais V6 I’ve got most bits, just need tail shaft/clutch disc/series III pedal box and clutch disc itself then I’m getting down to the dirties

Thanks mate makes a lot more sense, from what I read the cranks were balanced different or I could be wrong being as ecotec have shorter deck height and conrod a etc or am I wrong there

Thought firing pattern was 1 - 2 3 - 4 5 - 6? or am I looking at spark partern

Series two Buick cranks are the same as ecotec as far as I am aware? Or do correct me if I’m wrong

I’ve got my VY V6 manualized just had to follow the VX colour codes ;) doesn’t shift hard, all smooth shifts and no angry torque converter as I’ve wired in the Torque lockout etc

The VT/VX ECU does run a VS I myself have done it and my car runs an lpg setup and mind you it's a Petrol ecu also
