did you check all the vacume lines? a hose may be off some place ( or worn) and its not opening you left vent fully......cheeeers

ticking can come from injectores...i have ticking in my maloo ( not loud, but its norm) if its a knocking sound there will be issues of some type.get a mech to check it out if its knocking and not ticking................cheeers
