Thanks for that guys! ajvx I have also run 235's on 18's under the back of an early commodore before, but on the 15x7's they'll have somewhat more sidewall bulge than the same width tire fitted to a 17x8 or 18x8 rim...............Good to know they should be fine though!

253 VH Vacationer Figured I'd throw up a thread on my recent acquisition This is the first commodore I have owned for a while, and never really had a whole lot to do with them to be honest (only had a VK and VL in the past amongst many many falcons), so please excuse any noob questions that...

The bay of my newly acquired VH Vacationer (253 V8 obviously).........bit of a pig sty at the moment, but something to keep me occupied!

I reckon my old VL had Ultras in the rear and supers up front. Had all the appropriate shocker changes and such, but it still had an awful ride quality. I was running 18's though......if the car was sitting on 15's with a bit more sidewall I think the ride would have been much more acceptable!

That little Golf has come up pretty good. I'll have to get a close up of the bonnet, roof and top of the guards on my car though.......Its faded, but its also covered in what looks like stone chips in the paint. I dunno, will throw up a close up pic when I get the chance. Sides of the car...

OK Thanks. I did go to install a brand new one, but it fried itself when I was testing it. Annoyingly the warranty statement on the back says it has a 6 month warranty but does not cover burnt wires!! :ranting:
