Yeah iv got springs here to lower it. Just have to fit them to struts. Have completed dash swap and will include photos very soon

Double post soz so edited Standard dash cluster has typical cog broken so will replace with Calais Cluster Not a straight change and as replacing dash anyway will install patch harness Once soldered in ill attack dash removal. Have wrecked out several VS commodores so not a hard job.

I thought my old VR 5 litre might have shown up. I sold it in 2010 and havent seen it since 2012. I removed the factory dash cluster and refitted a Statesman one. There a good ute and im sure you will get lots of fun.

Thanks guys. Person buying was a time wasting no show but i kept bcm and key. The VX has cruise all airbags and power windows so prob would be a mid bcm. Will findout when i wreck out VX. Chears

Just wrecking a 98 vt v6 sedan executive and have a 2002 VX acclaim wagon. Would the bcm work in it or are they different. Both v6 autos

Just wire up same as tripping thread and make sure all conection are tight done 3 VR/VS conversions never had a prob.

Both seats are full electric with lumbar support, slighly worn driver side

Updated whats been sold, Stacker gearbox front gaurds gone. Everything but stray 18 inch wheel in pics is still avl inc ful set chrome moulds and all 4 white door handles

Coil, while i was getting power at the coil lead it must not have been enough. swaped it with the one in my injected torana and it all but fired up first hit.

Changed the coil, tightned all leads up , not going yet but at least it got a spark now and is trying to start

I could not find my spare dissy, its gotta be there somewhere. Just fitted another rotor cap no diff. Just pulled coil out and about to swap with a good one. Engine not earthing proplerly could be it, anythings worth a go before i find a sledgehammer and 5L of fuel.

Used 2 very good batterys 1st one 2 years old 2nd 5 months old, replaced leads still zero spark. Im suspecting dissy next as it seems very funny to have power going in dissy turns so it should work (in thery) iv swapped dissy caps but that made no difference. Iv got another good compleate dissy...

Not as yet gotta remember what pins to connect, engine light is staying on

I was not there, prev owner pressure washed engine bay and im gathering got water in the hall sencer at the bottom of the dissy. Also checked efi relay and engine fuse all looks ok
