I dont think you have to do anything.. use the VN box because its not electronic.. water intake will be different but should be fine someone correct me if im wrong!!

okay so my brother is going to have a look at a VT s2 SS and the current owner says its a BT1 (ex police) highway pursuit car or something, im not quite sure how to tell the difference.. what do we look for ID plates? is the dash different? and do they have much more go than a stock SS??

just get a custom made belt.. i did in my conversion coz i scrapped power steer and aircon, im down in tassie and a place called purple pig down here made mine to the measuremnt i gave them...

Hey all, I have a VR V6 powered Mazda 808 and it has a mini spooled Shortend vn diff in it with 3:08 ratio i am looking at upping the gears to 3.9 or even 4.11, i was told pintara or skyline have these and will fit, but im wondering if the nissans are still 28 spline?? has anyone done this?

Why hasnt anyone else done this? it just sounds a bit too easy... good luck with it tho..:thumbsup:

hey bud, it could be something simple like your universals in your tailshaft.. check them and make sure there is no movement there!! could be your problem!! hope that helped.. happened to me once in a hilux..

Well look i have driven both LSD's and spools so i know the way they drive in the dry and wet, i only started the thread to find out the spline for the spool, and i should manage on how to put the dam thing in thank you people!!!

hey no im not running aircon either i'll look in to the gilmer kit for it i didnt actually think of that:) nice work.. but i plan to get it registerd, the transport in tassie almost let you do anything but i will have engineers certificate aswell and it is going under special interset vehicle!

Well i have just found out that my diff in my VN is a 3.08:1 and i want a mini spool for it do i buy a 25 or 28 or a 30 spline piece for it? im really unsure to this so the correct info would be greatly appreciated cheers:)
