Gday my SIII Caprice passenger seat motor keeps moving the seat until it is full forward and up, even though the switch is disconnected! Flattened my battery twice now, so hoping someone has a solution. Cheers Phil

Gday mate top Vr you have and hoping you can help me. I have a Stato Series 3 console, cover and radio surround but I cant get mine to join up like yours does. Is ther something I need to modify or have i done something wrong? Cheers Phil

VS had the mirror on the windscreen VR's had the mirror screwed to the roof.

There are two holes on each side of the wheel and the controls line up with the holes. Sit in place after connecting the wires up and replace the horn cover.

They are just four of your standard black Philips head self tappers, same as in your door trim and you dont need to take the wheel off, just your horn bar cover doo hickey.

Its ALL in the preparation, clean the surface really well, use an undercoat/primer and go slow leaving time for drying between coats if the instructions say to. Dont try to get complete colour coverage with one coat. For most of the stuff I did normal paint was fine. my rocker covers are...

The clip is supposed to be on the bottom of the arm so as to stop the blade sliding out. If it is at the top of the arm and comes loose, it could slide out and get flung off ,scratching your windscreen in the process.

Autobarn sell a small bottle of 'RED Lens Dye" for around $18. it is a bit time consuming but it can be effective on reflectors with a couple of coats followed by a couple of coats of clear over the top. The clear is important as the dye will wash off very quickly. Otherwise keep looking for a...

Back in the mid 70s GMH made an XU2/3. A Starfire motor with twin SU's, hot cam etc.. and then installed it in a lightened Gemini that Colin Bond drove in the Alpine Rally. It went like a cut snake.

That steering wheel was from VB series to VL I believe. :whistling

Maybe try a Dynabolt? If you can get one close enough to the sleeve size it might let you rotate it out!

For pure induction noise we used to just flip the air cleaner lid on 5.0 litres, for 4.2 or twin barrel on a V8, a fan belt worked under the lid. Same result just a bit less effort. ;)
