Ive got the full hurricane system 4 into 1 extractors, 4" 200cpsi high flow cats, no resonator at the back... 2.5" system... If you want a deeper note then definitely get extractors

Lol, I was tempted to go the dual 3" all the way apparently it sounds deeper - but im getting old myself lol so chickened out... don't get me wrong 2.5" does sound nice, but it could be just that little bit better !!

Hi Guys, Recently got a full hurricane exhaust system for my VZ, its twin 2.5" from the engine back... its not quite loud enough though :( Question is, has anyone thrown twin 3" from the diff back ? Wondering if it'd be a straight bolt on, as my diff back is just bolted on and the 3"...

Yeh aftermarket ones look crappy, you could go like me and tint them yourself if you like that look (most people on here dont)... and get LED bulbs.

Lol, i got my sv6 tinted 5% all around no questions asked and the vy 15% all around... 5% is a bit much, looks awesome but visibility is pretty poor, 15% is perfect can see at all times... 35% is just plain ghey - being that low why even bother to tint

Just checked out your page, looks like your tint % is similar to mine, ill get those high output globes too, how many LEDs were in each globe ? Done a light test on my car, the globes are visible, but i dont think theyd quite reach the 200m mark... Wont have to last long anyways, Ill probably be...

The point of this thread is do leds penetrate tints better than normal globes, not about 3 points of brake lights, do most you people read by looking at pictures ? Simple question but not many could stay on topic...

Thought about that - but the tint on the SS lights is minimal, not worth the extra cash IMO Lol too funny, why are you so against tinted tail lights ? Some say they look awesome, and others have your opinion... Anyways, heres a pic of my tail lights taken today...

Your car looks nice as it is man... but yep a bit of tint would be nice... uhm apparently the secret to a nice glossy finish is apply about 5 layers of clear coat and then cut and polish it with a machine, i dont have an electric buffer so it only half came out, ill show a pic of mine tomorrow...

At night it shows through the tint easy, but daytime its just black with minimal light... Looks mad on a vy/vz, wish i could've gone just a bit darker though...

Before reading this, if your gonna carry on about the legalities and ramble on about the law - yes I already know, so dont bother answering. Recently I decided to go ahead and tint the tail lights (about 3 coats) using VHT nightshades and clearcoat finish... Obviously having a tint its going...

I had no resonator before, and it was loud as hell due to the high flow cats... but the resonator has made it just a lil bit too quiet, i like the rasp and drone lol, but just not so loud... It was louder than my dads v8 with 3 inch exhaust from the block back lol

Hi Guys, My current exhaust setup on my sv6 is extractors, 2 1/2 inch pipe all the way back, 2x200cpsi cats, 1 sports muffler and 1 7 inch resonator i think... anyways, the resonator has made it just a little bit too quiet, ive lost the gurgle when the car gears down and also it doesnt sound...

Im gonna do it to my VZ running off 2 actuators to bring the blocks up and down, my car is low enough, it wont be seen... Im surprised theres no real interest in this :-\

I take it you mean you want to replace your console which has a/c controls, to a clubby one with c/c controls ? If so, thats what im in the process of doing... I have been told that you will need a dremel and cut out the a/c controls and put them onto your clubby centre console with fibreglass...

Just use your foggies man, youd have to have the worst luck to get busted with them on, i have 8000k hid foggies (blue) and drive with them on all day, cops drive past and nothing ever happens...

Its normal as far as a VZ goes, get a cat back exhaust or something if you wanna get moving a bit faster when you put your foot down, the thing is choked up with 3 mufflers !!! Piss 2 of them off :)

I cbf dealing with them, so i went and bought a pair of 225/35/20 for the front... drives fines and looks like i have almost no tyre :) one thing though, did you or anyone else remove any of that plastic guard crap on the inside of the guards, looks like it takes up too much room, not sure whats...

It was ozzy tyres, they reckon the 245s scrubbed non stop when they tested it, and they said they had to cut the rear bumper a bit to make the 225s work... Very odd i know, but im also no expert

Uhm recently my suspension stuffed up @ 164,000ks, so i got a new lowered one, boge shocks and sssl rear and ssl front, i did have 245s on the back and 225 on the front (on 20s), now that it has been lowered all guards are rolled and the rear bumper has a chunk cut out to prevent scrubbing...

Im getting the same problem, the left strut just turns freely, but the right is solid as... how do you tighten them ? hold the top part and tighten the bottom or just get a socket on it and tighten, if its the latter nothing happens just keeps turning

Well i didnt end up disconnecting the A/C, just cut the C/C controls out roughly and the A/C fit right in, looks better with the SSZ console, cup holders and binnacles, the dodgy cutting will make me dremel and glass it properly asap... Sorry i cant put up a pic atm, no access to a pc
