    how long to pay car rego ??

    Be very carefull lish, in WA your compulsory third party expires immediately your rego is up, if you have an accident and someone gets hurt your ass is grass. Insurance Co's frown upon this practice.

    GMH Strut Brace

    Part No: 9211262 awd brace strut tower. This is the VZ strut brace but will fit VX onwards and may suit some earlier versions as well. Cost quoted by my local holden dealer was approx $60 but cost me $38 trade from Coventry's.

    Boot leak on a VXII S

    I found with my calais that the garnish actually leaked between the sections that are plastic welded together (red reflector type garnish with the lights incorporated). I ran a small bead of clear silicone over the sections and pressed it between the sections with my finger, worked a treat.

    driveline possibility's are stuffed centre bearing in the tailshaft or it's uni joints, stuffed cv joint or universal joint on an axle, diff could be in need of bearings/overhaul possibly a pinion bearing.

    Latch/lock for dash compartment

    part No 92103515 Latch. this suits the compartment under radio in the VX series but I'm sure it suits others as well. It also fits the cup holder lid and the rear console compartment in the VX Calais. Cost me $9.80 + gst from my local Holden dealer.

    Weird dash lights from VT..

    Did you by any chance wash your engine or run through a pile of water??? Condensation can hang around in the engine bay on the ABS unit and cause the problems you describe. Try spraying the ABS unit with WD40 or similar.
