    Pulley Bearings

that's a good motto, something I've always tried to stick by. would it make much difference being double sealed or not?

    Pulley Bearings

Hey guys, Had a whine coming from my engine for the past few weeks (sounds like a mean supercharger), haven't had much of a chance to properly look at it but at a quick inspection i think it may be the tensioner pulleys. Haven't had any experience with this kind of problem so I have a few...

    Sub location in VT commodore

for a vt or many other commodores ive found the best way to mount them is behind the backseats with the seat down subs facing you. gives you a better sound than if you mount them in the corners of the boot which is space saving yes but you sacrifice a decent sound so I recommend behind the seat...

    Commodore Backfiring and shudder-help

try looking over the usual, fuel filter, oil levels, coolant, spark plugs, has it had a service recently other than the gas conversion? I doubt your air box would be blown, may be something not plugged in properly, does it have a hissing noise at all?

    vacuum leak?

found the leak then, would it be worth re-sealing the whole thing or is it possible to get some sort of high temp silicone and go around the edges?

    Quality paint job?

Hey guys, I bought my vx about a year ago with something of a horrible paint job.. it seems to have a layer of clear coat from a spray can over the top of the factory paint job, not sure what the previous owner was going for but it has a horrible rough feel to it and doesn't look any good. the...

    Car trying to kill me

thanks for the responses. yes I know there's no rallying in a commodore, it was simply overestimating both my skills and the conditions.. I do still have a alot to learn I won't deny it, I don't plan on it happening again and it has undoubtedly taught me a lesson. I will definitely look at the...

    Removing aftermarket headunit help VT!

Some head unit sleeves are riveted to the inside of the dash bit, not sure if that's applicable to yours though. Most units have keys which push open clips that hold your HU in, not sure without looking at it though.. For your camera you need to tap onto your reverse wire which is located in...

Pioneer Head Unit Reviews - MVH8350BT

I haven't heard much about these units but it is pioneer so the quality should be quite good. I had a read for you and it does seem a good unit. It is a unit that is amplifier ready though, and from what I see you don't particularly want that. For the steering wheel controls though it seems you...

    Richie's VT Exec - VX SS Kitted - A tidy 6 banger

ride is looking great mate. I probably wouldn't bother buying the window surrounds, just get some chrome exterior paint, wet n dry and do a DIY job, may not be genuine calais but will come up as good as your dash job :) can I ask how you did your white dash lights though?
