I am getting ready for roadworthy and spotted a big hole in my exhaust, whats the cheapest way to fix this? Im not gonna spend on a propper exhaust setup until I build my new motor, so for now I just wanna pass a roady... If i take it somewhere to repair will they just laugh lol

Managed to get it working again, the fork was ok but the cable had seized up, ive put wd40 in as a temporary fix but would like to resolve the problem.. It is originally an auto so the cable is aftermarket, where would you get a grommet that suits?

There was no spacer between the block and the old pump so I just assumed i wouldnt need one.. What is the purpose of the spacer? Im guessing to allow for aftermarket fuel pumps?

So even if it cant be pushed in all the way manually you would just get it in close enough to get the bolts in and let it pull in when you tighten it up?

Hi I am halfway through swapping the fuel pump on my 253, Pump removed but having trouble getting new pump to push all the way into position.. Do i have to rotate the motor so the cam lobe moves? How easy is it to do?

My sle hasnt been started for over 6 months now and the last few times havent been able to get her going. It cranks over fine, tried using start ya bastard and it would fire and then conk out as obviously no fuel is pumping in. Also no smell of fuel when ive attempted to start it over and over...

Hi just wondering what the correct way to dispose of old fuel is? Ive got a full tank sitting in the vh which i havent driven for months and wanna ditch the old fuel. How do you guys get rid of your old fuel?

Yeh that all worked out well! My next jobs are removing the ac components and running the battery from the boot.. I am also trying to track down some vk mirrors and i wanna repaint my windscreen wiper arms at some stage. What about yourself? Any ongoing plans?

Bad photos but basically i want the ac gone, battery to boot, horn i have changed, then eventually new motor!

Is basically the compressor i want gone and the hose thing on the top, ac doesnt work anyway, so wanna remove the big visual components

I want to keep the heater working, just the air con that I want gone.. So I should be able to remove everything from under the hood which is connected to the ac? Where is the part where it meets the heater?

Can anyone expand on what exactly is involved? I would like to remove all the ac components pretty soon.. I had a look through the Gregorys service manual and I can't seem to find any info on how to remove it correctly.. Any help would be much appreciated, cheers kim

Are you going on sunday to the all holden day? I was chatting with a couple with a single tone maroon vh sle on thursday, they were friendly, also i spotted a nice green sle with walkys in the carpark outside, so there must be a few early commos in the club

Gday, I was looking around in the boot today and noticed 2 bolts coming up through the boot floor, From under the car you can see there is one either side of the fuel tank strap. Does anyone know what they would be for?
