I have the same problem atm so will be interesting to hear outcome. I'm leaning towards a leak in the exhaust manifold.

So what makes you think that low oil pressure could be caused by a leak in the exhaust manifold? Or are you answering some other problem?

What if the top seal in the rear main plate is not holding up? Lose pressure but no leak.

The issue stated by OP was a ticking noise. If he had low oil pressure it would throw a code.

Ive got a exust leek out between the stock manifold and head on the front left bank i dont no if anything to do with that i didn't realise i put a reply on your question i was putting up a reply on a question about putting a 3 INCH exust on a V6 dont no how got on your site
