Hi guys the car died after replacing the battery? now the car doesn't start, acc on car lights up and all warning lights are flashing, contact the dealer etc. Plugged the scanner in and it shows ( lost communication with the BCM ) i have another BCM with different part number somewhere in the shed should i just clone the original one? Anyone have been through this before? if so what was the resolution please? TIA

Does the car start and run?

NVM reread first post.

Does the engine crank over?
V8 or V6 ?
Replace any modules and not reconfigure/link them?

Was the battery put in back to front? Was positive connected to negative?

Did you connect positive first then negative? Or the other way around? Did the spanner or socket touch anything when snugging up the positive terminal when the negative was already connected?
