Another option if you want to keep it old school is a 7MG bottom end with a 5MG head, massive cams and triple side draught carbs. :D Now ima go find my flame suit.

A mate of mine did it about 15years ago and the induction noise at WOT was pure porn.

Those old Crowns were really well built and strong. Had a 4 door version and the chassis rails under it were massive.
Very comfortable cruiser.:thumbsup:

i would put the 1uzfe from a soarer in you can pick up a full car pretty cheap with everything need for conversion make a nice cruising motor

This should not be molested with another ls1 build.

agree with 247 though, you can pick up a limited edition sc400 for about 3k with all the fruit, power everything even the airbags and i doubt most of it would be hard to fit.
or you can pick up 1uz engines for around 400 every now n then.
