ABS Error Codes

I thought it’s was pin 5 & 6 on these models to short out to read the codes,
correct me if I am wrong.

According the the bulletin from Injectronics, when the ABS/TRC module fails solid, it locks the serial data line that also communicates with the climate control and dash. So using a scan tool will show no communication with the ABS, climate control or dash.
So to check that, you can disconnect the ABS at the plug, then check the scan tool to see if it can communicate with the climate control or the dash. If it now can, the ABS module is faulty.
