driving home a few months ago, i had a scare which i posted a thread on here http://forums.justcommodores.com.au...1-cutting-out-when-i-put-foot-down-video.html i got a mafless tune and seemed to fix the problem, however driving home the other night i was doing 100kmh with cruise and all of a sudden the engine, abs, traction, airbag light all come on and cruise was deactivated, the car didnt stall but the lights went off after another 5 mins down the road. i have done a bit of reading and the common problem seems to be the abs module on vt's, so does this sound like a similar problem with my vx?

Thanks

Yeah it sounds like the ABS module needs replacing. It is a common fault with VT and VX Commodores/Statesmans.

Try cleaning the terminals on the electrical connector on the ABS module.

Oh yeah thats a good idea as well. I usually spray crc/inox/rp7/wd40 etc on the plug and connections and blow it off with the air gun. It worked when I sprayed crc on the plug that is on the DFI module on a mates VS Berlina, car hasn't broken down since haha.
