Hi everyone. I have a vx S that had a v8 module and ABS module installed. it had this because someone converted it to an ls and the ls engine and k frame is rubbish so I’ve put it back to a v6. I’ve got ABS light, engine light and airbag light if I plug the brake module plug in. So basically all I’m asking is if the V6 and V8 have different brake lines, modules and so on. Thanks.

ok it depends on whether it was setup for traction control or not
what is the part number on the sticker on the bottom of the abs module
hint use a mirror, take a photo and then look at the photo in a mirror

Yeah it’s got TC button. When I plug it in it’ll work but after a few mins or seconds it’ll throw up airbag, abs, trac low/trac off etc. which part number do u want? There’s 4 different numbers labeled on the Bosch electric module.

Did you read post 2 in the link?
Yes mate my bcm is the original for this car for a v6 and whoever had it as a v8 linked it to an ecu. I did the same thing with the v6 setup. I also unplug the abs module and all lights go away. What I’m asking is if V8 and v6 brake lines are the same and if the modules are the same.

No. Cars with no traction control will have a 3 circuit ABS unit where as cars with traction control use a 4 circuit unit.
