There is a little tab you need to press in then your able to pull up the lever that will release the plug once the lever gets almost around to the top start pushing the plug away from the unit and it will come off

Cheers for that, got it off good, sprayed in contact cleaner, has improved but not completely fixed, is it true that you replace the module it needs to be paired for a want of a word to the cars ECM?

An unprogrammed ECBM from Holden is $1700, least they're brand new and can be programmed to this car for $150, where if you can get one from a low km smashed VE SS 6.0 ltr with auto is hard to find, it needs to come from at least the same series with the same config to be able to be programmed, is there anyone that can debunk this for me?
