ABS speed sensor fault

Is the shudder only happening under braking? And you might as well just replace that faulty wheel sensor, you can get aftermarket ones there around $100 or through Holden about $250. Or you could just grab a second hand one from the wreckers and try your luck

Do Holden still make them?

The guys at the brake shop reckon Holden don't actually make them anymore, that's why they got a second hand one and put it in.
And the shudder is only when coasting or braking at speeds above 40kmh.
I can feel vibration in the steering wheel as well.
For reference here is the old sensor. The metal bit looks a little worn.

Which was replaced with a much less worn sensor.

I doubt your speed sensors have anything to do with the (shudder) your feeling.
I was told also that they don't make/stock them, so not sure where MY_84_VK can still get them from.

I originally though it was the shudder causing the speed sensor problem.
I tried to get a recording of the shudder, but couldnt.

She's due for her 170k service, I'll ask them to do a check with the tech 2 on the speed sensors.
And we if there's anything else I've done.

Theres a few guys on here now who have bought these $400 tech 2 kits from china, so surely theres someone down that way who has one and would be able to help out a fellow JC member..Id do it for you no worries if you were near me.
