You could try and tighten those 2 screws at the back, but you'll need a Torx bit to do so.
If that fails, you can get the whole HVAC unit off eBay for around $30 to $40.
You will need to replace the whole unit, as I pretty sure the unit is non serviceable.
Besides, it would be easier anyway.

So, I fixed the problem!!

Basically had to wedge two pieces of wood (180 degrees apart) between two black plastic bits so that one of the black plastic bits with all the grooves leading the air to the different holes is flush with the white plastic bit with the holes.

Well done mate.
But I reckon you'll need to replace it one day.

I’m having the same problems, I have a vz commodore and the air will only come out of the windscreen, what could I do to fix it?

VZ Crewman, VZ Cross 8, & ya mum.
Fix the actuators behind the trim. There is one for each function. Not easy to reach in some spots, but doable.

It’s also possible that the vacuum manifold behind the switches is faulty.
