I have a 3inch hurricane catback on my VE SS ute and it is WAY to loud so I'm wondering if yall think it would be possible to add a centre muffler to it maybe varex and maybe in place of one set of the resonators (basically just cause clearance as I recon thatl be the biggest issue).

if it suits just put the factory rear mufflers back on and it will quieten it right down (not affect performance) but still allow it to sound good when ur on throttle

They're long gone but i could easily get some form a wreckers. But cause it's a 3 inch catback going to the stock muffler pipes which would probably be something like 2.25 inch just seems like a drastic change and like they would probably be a nightmare for an exhaust shop to make fit.

they might be able to put a step in it when they replace the flange, its a sure way to quieten it down, the center muffler may barely change it at all, but there are others on here with better exhaust knowledge that should chime in

I've got stock rear mufflers. They won't kill all power.

yea ive made over 700 at the rears thru stock rear mufflers, unless ur chasing big numbers they work fine
I've actually just put the stock rear mufflers back on so now it's a 3inch catback going into the stock 2.25inch muffler. It's not running the best and is sucking power I think the tune isn't happy, I'm thinking of just going in to get a touch up tune until I find/can afford a better exhaust solution.

What is the rest of your exhaust system?

its different now but at the time it was 1-7/8 extractors into 3'' cats to cheap duel 2.5'' system into factory rear mufflers, boost helps (LS blower) but shows the rears can flow fine for most engines
