I’ve got a couple lights coming up on the dash for a 2002 LS1 VX Commodore. It’s got an airbag light that comes on a few seconds after start with a few beeps, along with an ABS light. The horn doesn’t work and neither do the volume controls on the wheel for the radio. The locking system also has trouble sometimes which makes me think it’s either a Clock Spring or a BCM. Has anyone else had a similar problem that can point me in the direction of what the problem could be? I’ve scanned the car and had no codes returned.

sounds like more than one fault
get a compatable scan tool and see what codes come up with lights

Being a 2002 VX, possibly has around 280,xxx > 300,xxx + k’s on it
I’m tipping it’s the Clock Spring,

I recently replaced a clock spring in a relatives 2003 VY because the horn didn’t work, but the buttons worked ok.

But as above ^^^^ get it scanned to confirm the codes, and take it from there.

I had a possible idea of it being a clock spring because I had moved the wheel around a bit and the buttons started working. I have one on order that I’m going to chuck in and if that doesn’t fix it I’ll get it scanned. I am hoping it’s either a clock spring or a BCM though. Thanks

You better hope it is just a Clock Spring !
being the cheaper/easier fix.
