Aircon Leak(s)

Just wondering where the most common place for aircon gas leaks on the VE are? I know I have a leak... just can't find it....

Why isn't the workshop that put the dye in the system looking for the leak?

So the system has dye in it?

Take it to a workshop. OR Look over components with a UV light.







THEN take it to a workshop.

Don't even bother trying to find a needle in a hay stack. Spend the bucks leave it to the pro's!

They commonly leak at any weak point in the system.

IIRC you can have nitrogen put in it, (which is cheaper than gas) then test for leaks.

In my experience, an aircon shop will regas with the dye.

If it leaks, they don't charge to regas when doing the repairs.
