I currently have the 8 inch head unit and it works perfectly, the gps is accurate it allows you to look up points of interest in the area.

For functionality and day to day use I'm extremely happy with what I have. I wasn't a fan of the 7" unit that's why I waited until the 8". The 8" screen is absolutely stunning, the colours are vibrant and vivid and the controls work perfectly.

So it doesn't tell you that you don't have a GPS signal?

ive never had an issue with GPS either it is more accurate than my navman was
