How do we know that science is correct? It hasn't always been 100% accurate on things in the past and there is no real way for the average joe to verify their claims.
How do we know that these scientists aren't biased or have their own agenda to push?

There are scientists with opposing views, why are their views always conveniently brushed aside?

As for Greta, I dislike her because she knows nothing yet puts her views across and tries to lecture people in a extremely condescending and arrogant manner.
She is simply parroting the wacky extreme left ideologies she has been brainwashed with and using her status to influence and brainwash people of her generation with this tripe.

Look, I am all for a cleaner planet, but it needs to be done in a sensible and logical manner, not the extreme measures that these nutcases are pushing.

For instance, Greta claims that we should be aiming not for zero net emissions, but zero emissions entirely. Can anyone see what an incredibly ridiculous and irrational statement this is? How on earth does she propose to achieve this? It is simply impossible to have 7 billion humans inhabiting earth yet creating zero emissions.

People need to wake up and see her for what she really is - a puppet of the extreme left with an agenda to push.

And remember, climate change is just a convenient facade that these people hide behind. They have a hidden agenda - and that is to bring down capitalism.

As I said earlier, if there is anything positive to come out of the covid19 crisis its that it has thrust Greta and her ilk right out of the spotlight.
She has now faded away into irrelevance where she belongs.
You should be a script writer for Donald Trump, seriously.

This part in particular is quite humorous:
"And remember, climate change is just a convenient facade that these people hide behind. They have a hidden agenda - and that is to bring down capitalism."

A microorganism known as COVID-19 threatened to bring 2020's version of capitalism to its knees....
...but it has so far been BAILED OUT...... yet again.

Governments and Central Bankers are beside themselves with panic....they have no f-ucking idea what to do...
..so they are chucking money at everything and anything...

You cherry picked one paragraph of my post and gave a completely off topic response... What is your point exactly?
Funny that you mention Donald Trump... It has been delightful watching the pathetic, vitriolic left burning in anger, throwing everything including the kitchen sink at Trump trying to smear and belittle him, yet he comes out smelling like roses time and time again...
The tactics of the left.... the group that preaches peace and tolerance, but only if you subscribe to their ideologies.

Wake up... climate change has been wildly sensationalised and is little more than a political pawn!

I couldn't be bothered to pull apart all of your poorly constructed wall of text.
What's my point exactly?
Your previous post was dribble.
Plus, you're the one who claimed 'lefty climate change environmentalists nutters' are just a front to bring down capitalism.

Trump is simply the product of a very broken political, economic and social system.

Capitalism will continue to fail and need propping up as has been the case for about...its entire existence.
Capitalism is unsustainable because it requires an ever growing number of 'hosts' from which to 'feed' ie: it's not symbiotic by nature, capitalism takes more than it needs and gives back less than it takes....and when it exhausts all of its hosts or they disappear, it collapses.
Capitalism stratifies society, increasing inequity by allocating more or less opportunity and resources based upon 'social class' and subjugates the masses into wage slavery.

Well that is exactly what they are, or are you too blind or brainwashed to see it?

As opposed to Communism/Socialism which has proven to be a failure in other parts of the world? Do you honestly think we would be better off under such a system?
We can thank capitalism for our wealth and high standards of living here.
Everyone has an opportunity to make something of themselves, it's only the stupid or lazy that tend to blame the system for their own failures.

What we have is a system of capitalism and socialism. When things are going fine it's capitalism. When things go wrong there is socialism to fall back on. Out goes the hand and the good old taxpayer props them up. If you have the misfortune to fail when it's supposed to under the capitalist system there is always bankruptcy to fall back on. Just make sure that you have your money in a family trust or somewhere they can't get hold of it. Subbies and wage workers miss out. Oh dear how sad never mind.

I've lost count of how many times peeps dust off these 'ol chestnuts *yawn*
If you can't win with logic, reason or truth, baffle them with bulls-hit.

btw
*Capitalism is a purely economic system, operating independently (supposedly) from government
*Communism/Socialism are a political / economic / social, philosophy

George Carlin is funnier than me, so over to you, George!
