Got the front seats soaked/lathered up with the Palmers.
Rubbing it on, it gave me a weird hard on. That’s normal, right?
Let’s see how much gets soaked up.

Let us know how it goes (not the weird bit), I am curious to find out if it is better than Oakwood, and if it leaves a residue.

These have already been cleaned so many times and conditioned so many times. The headrests worked out amazing. (My test section)
Yes it leaves a residue because I put so much on so I wipe it off.

I use this particular stuff because it has so few additives and no chemicals as such.

They soaked everything up.

I have the Oakwood hydrating cream. I just put some on. That is really oily and makes the leather shiny. Also the leather loses that leathery smell. Smells more citrusy. So will clean them back again to get that Matt finish as best as possible.

Can’t stop looking at these headlights. Got the new fixings in the post so couldn’t help bolting them up.

Cleaning under and behind the ECM.
Citrus cleaner comes through with the goods, yet again.

Got the battery tray back in.

Replaced the crap looking bolts through the engine bay.

So. These seats and some of the products.

One closest has the Oakwood hydrating cream. Back is as the seat was this morning after the Palmers cocoa butter cream soaked in. That Oakwood stuff is so shiny and greasy.

Here’s the headrest and you can see where the Palmers went on and the Oakwood over the top. Missed a spot so shows the difference.

The Oakwood is soaking in. I hope. Looks like it’s covered in baby oil.

Love the roof too. Seats in the back are in and no longer is there dog chewed seatbelts and seatbelt connectors.

Of note: these rear seats got done in Palmers moisturising lotion. It’s runnier and white. Smells heaps nice. Gives the leather it’s leathery smell back. Not as good as the Palmers Cocoa Butter. I could only find hand bag sized tubes of that. The old lady at the Woolies register gave me a cheeky wink when I bought them. Little does she know, I disappointed her so bad.

Initally, I used a well regarded 'name' auto cream, in accordance with instructions, which left a white residue and mess which took hours to clean up.
So now, Oakwood Leather Conditioner, it is nearly clear, and is oily when first put on, but soaks in and buffs up nice, not shiny. You must have used very liberal handfuls of the hydrating cream.
Must try some of Mrs Palmers hand cream to see what difference there is.
