SS tail lights are the same as SV6/8, just darker.

Just get factory ones instead of trying to tint your stock lights.

Its
a) highly illegal to tint stock lights
and
b) looks like **** 99.9% of the time.

As for removing your spoiler your will need to get another break light in the rear window, just like its been said above just connect it to the already existing connectors and put it on the parscal shelf there is no need to hook it up the top of the window (that also involves more work hiding the wiring to keep it looking clean too :p)

Almost ran into the arse of someone with tinted tail lights last week - the indicators and brake lights were barely visible, VERY HANDY when they were turning off the highway.
To top it off they always look so out of place, big black things on the back of the car...

Problem with the LED ones is that of an LED fails you generally have to replace the whole light.

Everyone has SS tail lights because they look nice :) Theres other areas that you can personalise your car to make it unique.
