Maybe because where the OP is located BMW parts are easier to source than Holden/GM?

After reading some of the other posts from the OP I do see now that It's related to an SS Caprice in Saudi or similar.

With the silly assumption that the OP was indeed located in this country

I was genuinly curious as to whether there was a misconception that a BMW part is supposedly superior to the GM product, one of those unheard 'upgrades' so to speak.

To add some helpful advice, couplings are usually measured in thickness and PCD if that helps compare the 2 manufacturers
