Reads more like you couldn’t get straight answer so you didn’t do it.

I got some straight answers from Holden, RMS and engineers, and it adds up to.....not 100% legal without engineer's certificate.

Where do you buy the Bendix premium? Are they the pads they sell at Super cheap?

Yeah they are from Supercheap Auto
They are just the Bendix GCT pads, but they are labelled as Bendix "Ultra Premium" for Supercheap Auto exclusively

Repco have a similar thing with their Penrite "Vantage" range of oil that they sell
It's exactly the same oil that Supercheap sell, but it's labelled "Vantage" exclusively for Repco

And when they run price comparison campaigns, you can't get a price match / discount coz no one else sells the "same" product.

Spot on mate
Makes you wonder if it's a premeditated plan by the companies respective marketing/sales departments

Of course it is.

Bunnings started it years ago when they had exclusive supply agreements for particular brands / products that you couldn't buy anywhere else.

Yes of course it is. I only buy them when it's two for the price of one.

I’ve used DBA XP, good performance for street and track, but probably slightly less dust than factory but still dusty.

Heard for street only the DBA street is a great pad or hawk ceramic or Akebono ceramic.
