mate, if it's under warranty then you shouldn't be out of pocket! Hope you get a result in the near future.
Good luck!

Thanks me too.

I wonder if any Holden dealers have a dyno in Sydney ?

Cheers

None that I'm aware of - but no doubt they could access one if given the go ahead - I know they outsource a lot of pre-delivery performance modifications - no reason they couldn't outsource that too.

I wonder how I could put that forward to the mechanics that have had the car now for 8 days.

I would like them ( Holden ) to pay for the dyno analysis.

I think what would have to happen for that is similar to what is happening with mine and it's driveline issues. I'm waiting on a date to be confirmed for a service manager from holden to meet me there to assess the car so that further work can be approved.

Seems like mine is the only VE SS manual that surges under light load !

I could be thinking of something completely different here but I have what I could only described as a similar issue but only in 1st and 2nd (I thought it was just me getting used to a manual again).

If I go over a speed hump for instance and slow right down enough to use 1st or 2nd and put the foot slightly on the throttle to pick up speed again it's almost as if there's a hesitation there, best way to describe it would be being in the car with a taxi driver where they continually take their foot off and then back on the accelerator all the time.
