Man, those AC Delco wiper blade fasteners fit up as tight as the proverbial!
I had installed these about 6 months ago and thought I would remove them to flip the rubbers around. After a few minutes work, I ended up leaving them in place rather than break something or slice up my fingers. I will just keep replacing the rubbers until the plastic blade goes brittle or deforms.
I have used third party stuff off eBay prevously, which were much cheaper than OEM but performance was only good for a few months.

On a brighter note, the rubbers were really easy to slide out and reinstall the other way around to get a bit more life out of them before I slap the $10 or so down. The ones that came on the car had the plastic retention tips welded in place (as I am sure VS_Pete will have assessed) so have to break them to change out the rubbers.
Appreciate for the original steer in the right direction @VS_Pete

Thanks VS_Pete. Fitting of the ACs was easy.
I tried removal today - couldn't squeeze the sides of the blade fastener when I was bored and testing them.
When it is time to replace I will just (carefully) break them out.
Will get the AC rubbers as the next step.

So I`ll try and fit ASAP and let you know.
I had a quick go was tight trying to get it onto the arm then pissed down so that`s it for today.

I’ve just fitted acdelco to my front ones. They’re not acdelco brand some repco brand but acdelco refills fitted. Do the acdelco fit the rear also? My 2 front ones were $9 for both today at Sprints Auto so might be cheaper than buying direct from Holdens?
