Colour for my VK

Hi All

This is my first post, excited to be part of the community.
I purchased a Vk SL a few weeks ago from a old man in country Victoria.
-Waltons Blue 134 pack
-Factory numbers matching V8
-Aussie 4 speed
-Original interior in excellent condition (Cerulean)
-Front and rear Group A add on spoilers and skirts
-102k kms from new (he reckons) no books though
-Tow bar!?

It drives runs and drives really well. The only issue is the paint is really bad, he thought he could respray with a spray can and its horrible. He even brushed it on inside the boot and window surrounds. (He was a ex house painter)

My questions is should i strip and paint back to original colour or go to Formula Blue which i love?
What would you guys do?

These are getting old enough now

Could do reversable like making it sl group a replica since it's halfway there with spoilers especially if that is it's original colour.

Only factory waltons blue cars I've seen were hdt cars so might be worth checking tags match.

Yeh i think factory is the way to go, Sl group A sounds like an idea.
I'll give HDT a call tomorrow, i guess you never know..

IMO factory colour and loose the non factory items it will be worth so much more and look way better in the long run.
