Gear Wrench are good stuff. AFAIK they were the first to bring out ratchet spanners.

They are exi, yes but IMHO worth every dollar. Once you get a set you will wonder what you did without them. SCA has cheaper versions but are just not as strong. My first set was SCA ones and they were great until I abused them by hitting them with my palm to loosen nuts, which damaged the gears causing them to slip now. My Bacho ones don't get the same treatment as I realised I needed to be more careful with them. I now have imperial ones as well as a set of stubby ratchet spanners that get pulled out about once a year for times that you have a really tight space, where the longer ones don't have enough room to work them.

You are not supposed to crack nuts with any ratchet spanner, even a Bacho,

Yeah I got lazy, but realised not to do the same with a set that cost me at least three times what paid for the SCA cheapies.

I think the Gearwrench ones are pretty good, side by side the 15/16 spanners, the GW is much longer than the TTI one I have. Not that length means integrity but there's more turning force and mass.

On my list to buy is a set of long ring spanners, for that very reason, leverage.
