I've been using Tectaloy coolants for around 25 years now, never had any issues with their products

Only issue I see is 1L won't be enough coolant to water ratio. IIRC it should be 50/50 of 1000gms glycol concentrate. I use the Repco gear and it seems fine.

It depends on the strength of the concentrate. Like i said 1000gms a litre you use it at 50/50

The concentrate isnt always 50/50... it will tell you on the bottle how many liters it makes when mixed with water...I tend to get the makes 10L concentrate, flush the rad/block with tap water..pour 1/2 the concentrate in then mix the other 1/2 bottle with 5L of distilled water and top up with that.....

I've always used either "V Plus" which is basically the genuine GM coolant but in Tectaloys bottle or the genuine AC Delco Holden Coolant which is the same as both are made by Deville Industries which is the maker of Tectaloy Products. I get the Delco brand stuff at a bargain price so why would I go away from that and as "Tonner Matt" suggests I too won't venture away either.

The gear i use is the Repco green. Its 1000gms approx of glycol, per litre. I use it at 50/50 mix. I have also used Nulon which has the same glycol content. I buy based on what i can get at the best special at the time i need it. But i normally look for the 1000gms of glycol. Natrad in Adelaide told me to use the Nulon gear and to run it at 50/50. I was strictly using Nulon but I saw Repco gear half price and ok for use in GM vehicles so use that now.
