Yeah the continentals on the 6series are c/2009. Technically legal as plenty of tread but a little sketchy.

It doesn’t mean “floor stock”, they had to order-in mine.

My guess is that it’s something to do with the commercial deal they’ve got with Bridgestone c/f Michelin, how much discount K-Mart gets from the supplier in these cases.

Are you guys who are buying from Costco having them fit, balance & align also or just buying the rubber? I’m just wondering how Costco’s pricing/expertise compares??

Costco fits & balances, it’s in the price.
Dunno about “expertise” though.

They've got the tyre fitting bays. I think with electronic gear these days there's not a lot of expertise needed to balance and fit, particularly when I describe the tears I'll be crying if they scratch the rims...

Wheel alignments are another story though.

Got my pet guy I've been going to for annually for years.

Cheers for the responses guys...yes, I’ve seen their fitting bays but never spoken to anyone that’s used them....bit like I’ve seen their in-warehouse casket (well partial caskets) display but not spoken to anyone about how that works either....assuming I don’t take home a casket strapped to the roof of the wagon o_O

I'm at an age where the caskets are becoming of some interest.

Perhaps I'll grab one just in case...
