The aftermath from this was one of the worst I have ever seen. The news doesn't really say much about how it happened it just says they hit each other then smashed into the same stobie pole? Pretty strange for them to both hit the same pole.

Looks like they hit the stobie then landed 20 meters back in the direction they were coming from. Cant even imagine what that would be like to witness.

AdelaideNow... 150km/h crash shocks police

Pretty sad.. according to facebook the kid that died was a friend of a friend of mine. Never met him however. Hopefully this is a bit of a wake up call to others, as much as you'd like to think it you aren't invincible when you're behind the wheel!

Thank christ they only wiped each other out...

Darwinism at its best. People wonder why laws are getting tougher, this is exactly why.

No doubt we will hear the cries about the importance of opening a track etc. These clowns would have killed themselves with or without a track. Fancy doing 150+ in a 60 zone...****ing morons.

V8 6spd wif MOMO leavaa.
nothing else is working down here with curbing the road toll minux, i think the SA govt should get a track happening, its got a better chance of working than hoon laws, clearly that isnt working.

i know a lot of people here that do stuff on public roads and i know they wouldnt have the urge to do so if there was somewhere to go.

So lack of self control is the real issue here...not lack of a track.
