Its running sweeter with no tps. As soon as I connect it, it goes crazy. Also wiring from the Female Socket to ECU is getting full power...13.8v on + - Terminals. Just have not tested the signal wire. Did a ohms test by full sweeping of the tps, showed 2 ohms all the way in each direction for -+ terminals.

Ok, Thanks mate. That's what it states on the manual too. Idle reference is 1.25v = 0%, not used on idle. Then up to WOT is 4.95v 95%. The tps is showing correct values. Wondering why it is making car go bonkas? LOL. May this 2nd one be internally crook again, will i need to hook it up to an oscilloscope to check wave length or might have to send ecu with key and BCM away?

From my understanding of the ls1 tps, idle volts should be 0.7v and at 100% open no more than 4.7v. Anything outside these parameters will set a dtc. What a are the voltages you are getting?

I'd still be looking at a vacuum leak. Even though diagnostics says no, doesn't mean there isn't. Don't put too much trust in a Tech 2, it will only tell you what has been logged by the PCM. If the leak is minor, the PCM may not even notice it, or will point at the TPS. There is a small vacuum hose at the back of the manifold, check that one. Also, while it is idling, spray some aerostart around the manifold and all the vacuum hoses and see if the idle picks up.

You gave away a VY clubbie?!?! Wish I lived near you!

If you still have it get a decent tuner with HPTuners/EFILive to look at it. Can view log and chart all the data including commanded and actual IAC position, TPS voltage and position, fuel trims, map and maf, pretty much everything. Viewing logs and charts on a laptop is so much better than squinting at a tech2.

Car will be returned at 8:30 tonight. He c
felt bad for what he did. I also feel guilt fir what I did, I was not thinking straight. I've realized that with all the problems, I can still drive it and have some kind of transport. Ok ill see if anyone can do it with those programs. Does anybody know someone who can do this, have program or somewhere in Townsville I can take it too? I'm in the isa. No one deals in HP here. :(
