Had to D/C my battery to remove the engine light I also held the horn and brakes for 1 minute to drain the memory left over. Now the car has a strange rough idle for a few minutes just wondering if there's some sort of procedure to reset the throttle body position sensor or what ever might be effected from the memory erase?

Why was the engine light on? Did you scan for codes?

Depending on why the engine light was on in the first place,
it may just need to re learn its original settings.

You could try this.......

Turn ignition to the "ON" position (red lights on dash).
Leave ignition on for no less than 1 minute.
Turn ignition off.
Wait a few seconds.
Start engine.

I have to do this procedure on my modded VT, each time the battery is
disconnected, otherwise it wont start.
It's had a few Mechanics shitting themselves (if I haven't told them before hand) as to why it wont start after
they've worked on the car.
