I have 3.7s in my 6 speed LS3. Stock no mods and fuel economy is 15.5L/km and it averages 11L/100km on the highway at 110km in 6th. I'd chase a factory 3.45 LSD personal but it depends on your intend use

3.45 or 3.7 are good all rounders. 4.11 is a bit excessive for a daily as it will be terrible for cruising speeds over 100.

I would hardly call 2000-2100rpm in 6th gear terrible? (presuming manual gearbox)

Haha labouring your poor big engine!

Comparing it to a mazda 3 or something that does 3000rpm doing 100kmh it really isn't too bad though ;)

But yeah, the difference really is about acceleration, 2000rpm @ 100 might sound bad, but when your doing 2nd gear roll on's and have more useable power to overtake from 6th gear without downshifting you might think differently about it?

EDIT: Wogboyz you have a PD blower, so you're not allowed to comment on having useable power to overtake from low rpm in tall gears haha, just not fair.

3.27 non-lsd? Must be a pumpkin out of a V6. If you can confirm the diff serial / code then I'd be interested to buy.

haha 6th is overdrive so when its sitting at 1500 or so its cruzing nicely no labouring still overtakes pretty good but usually just go to 5th

I personally woudnt go more then 3.7 I noticed less traction in lower gears from the change 4.11's id be spinning right up to 100 and beyond lol

PD blower + Heads + Cam does help :p
