This is all true, however without knowing what the engine service schedule is these are all arbitrary observations.
The link i posted above, though it doesn't list service schedule in details does state:
Moving on to the wheels, Bugatti advises all Veyron owners to change the tires once every couple of years and a fresh new set costs an eye-watering $38,000. As for the wheels themselves, they have to be replaced every 10,000 miles (16,093 kilometers) for a staggering $50,000. Doing the math, we’re looking at around $100,000 in maintenance costs in just a couple of years of ownership.
Then there are those super expensive carbon ceramic rotors and pads to contend with, so if you need to ask about the remaining engine maintenance costs, well you can't afford the car to begin with
But if you do plan to buy a used example down under, it would set you back $2,700,000 AUD as can be
read in this article which also states
Don’t scratch the wheels or damage the tyres as a new set from Bugatti will set you back US$150,000 – or US$100,000 if you can find a set second hand on eBay. The sale includes the original Bugatti handbooks and keys as well as a recent major service.
Guess those factory wheel rims have increased in price...
Supposedly, the Veyron can gulp fuel at a rate of
78lts/100kms which will empty its tank in 20minutes in anger (I calculated the tank as ~100 litres)
Drive this vehilce a hard 20,000 kms and you'll be up for probably 2 sets of tyres, new rims, rotors, pads and probably a few oil changes so this machine will be in another league entirely in terms of maintenance costs.
And like any machine, it will have recalls and service bulletins which will all be handled quietly and professionally while you are offered quality Apéritif maison and a blow job from the nice lady in the waiting room
