G'day ladys/gents
I ordered a new belt for my 09 3.0L V6 Berlina they told me 7PK2555 will fit (repco and other websites also said the same thing) but when I went to put it in it's way to big anyone have similar problem and if so what belt do you know would fit cheers in advance team!

Correct one is 6pk2555 ....

Are you sure you're routing the belt correctly?

What was the number on the old belt?

Definitely was following the diagram from the repair manuel and took photos of how the old one was routed the belt hasn't got numbers on it unfortunately

The big belt in the picture is the 6PK2555 and the smaller one is the original out of the car

Take it back to Repco, Holden, or whoever, and ask them why it won't fit. Could be as simple as a mis-branded belt.

this is what the engine bay looks like

In the wording I see idler but no idler shown in the pic.
There are 2 belts listed for VE
6PK 2555 which you have and and 6PK 2125
The new longer belt you have is for a vehicle with idler pulley probably same as VZ.

Measure the length of the old belt and if around 2125 then that is what you need 6PK 2125
