That just creates other problems for Moderators.

Regardless of his worth to the forum, if he can repeatedly break the forum rules then so everyone else should be allowed too.
yeah I know, I guess I saw it as a net positive but im sure mods had enough.

back on track, what is the difference between the 310 pack and the 375 pack other than LSx displacement? just OTR?

The OPs 300kw on a hub dyno seems plausible.
Mainline have stated that a hub dyno will read 23-30 kw higher than a roller equivalent, depending on the wheel and tyre used.

Thanks for that info. Will read up a bit on the different dynos.. yeah a quick search suggests hub dynos are more accurate but do provide higher readings than wheel or chassis dynos. I guess there is other threads dedicated to hub vs roller dynos on here here too.
I guess my lesson learned here is i shoulda done a 1/4 mile run before and after the otr/mafless fit. Sounds like that is the only real comparison test then.
She definately has more grunt tho from about 3100rpm which used to feel like it came on around 4400rpm instead.

I think thats about it. On Harrop's website they have the same mods on the 6lt pulling 325kw (flywheel) whilst the same mods on the 6.2lt pulls 375kw.

I'd always thought Walkinshaw's 310kw rating for their W310 was a little on the conservative side, considering a bog standard manual 6lt had 270kw

From the walky website Only difference is a otr and the ls3. Interesting they fitted a otr standard to the w375 but a side cold box on the w310 .

The two hole style of mod on a stock airbox has been around for years and is very effective up to a point.

In other words the 310kW didn't need anything more.

Dynos don’t matter when your shredding the rears, it’s the maniacal look on your face that gets the hearts of your passengers pumping.

I always figured it was the screams from the passenger seats causing the maniacal look?:D

@07GTS transients may be realated somehow to SD in your tuning program but can be calibrated separately in others.
yes its a totally separate area all the transient fuel tables, i was meaning the MAF during a transient operation (throttle stomp) isnt as accurate so they use SD for that as its a quicker response, the maf is better at steady state
