Sounds tough as mate, nice work.
Very interested to see what it makes on the dyno, they you'll have to take it to the strip .

Well mine is still exactly the same :( The developments that some of you guys have made look really good

I bought a house a year ago so the cash flow was redirected. The last few years I've been spending more time tinkering with my v8 and my WRX so the v6 has been put on the back burner.

Since I started this thread back in 2010 (I think??) I've taken it to the drags a few times and a few burnout comps. The last 12 months she's been chilling at my inlaws' farm.

One day i'll get back on it and get a manifold made up

Oh this should be interesting! :yeah:

The standard runners taper 30-32mm at their narrowest I think.

This is the model I'm using for flow mapping. Your only getting the end view because I'm modifying the front view at the moment.

I have a boundary layer issue at the merge from mani port to head, where flow is slowing at the top of the head entry because of a too tight angle. The best solution so far is to actually to tighten the bend at the trumpet base then curve the end of the runner downwards slightly.

But as soon as I curve the floor of the runner I get a boundary condition on the runner floor slowing flow at the port bottom.

The other solution is to straighten the runner so it's closer to 90 degree at the head but that gives height issues.

Oh - it's an LS style end entry design.

No you don't get any of the info I need to keep the design my own :)

I'm still wondering if I can reshape the head entry a bit. Wish I had a cross section diagram of the port to valve throat area.

i like the idea of the LS style entry, i would love to be able to run a otr style intake to a LS style Mani. Wish someone did a bolt on kit! Unfortunately I'm not in the know how when it comes to fabrication but i love seeing what you guys have come up with
