started doing the bolt ons as soon as engine was assembled...

and the fun side...

sitting pretty

cooler mounted

exhaust and intercooler piping done...

run in tune sorted
110kw at 5000rpm...lol
go bed it in the tuner says...

got all the cooler pipes powder coated and the cooler and went for a OEM type r wrinkle red rocker cover...

bought another set of wheels at impulse buy
16x9 front with 215/40 tyres
16x8 rear with 195/45 tyres

then lost my job so I threw my track wheels on and sold the regas and miesters

time for proper tune on bp pump 98

305kw on 15psi @ 8700rpm (ran out of fuel, otherwise it was still making power)

went to calder and ran 12.9 @ 118mph
then this happened on the second run

ran 12.95 @ 124mph

lucky my daughter was there to lend a hand a swap it out (I took spares this time)

upto date:

had a leaky sump so I threw It out and bought moroso new model with trap doors and extra capacity, also a aftermarket gasket which is a common issue on the b-series engine...

I also added a baby seat

and got some full slicks

anyhow, i decided fri 7th November i would head back to the drags at calder park...

some prep during the week included:
check all oil and water levels,
check sump for leaks...lol
raise coilovers to fit slicks,
get wheel alignment...
check for NO rain...

so every1 is aware, i have taken out 1 wastegate spring, so from the normal 15psi of spring pressure i run, i was now running only 8psi...
i wanted to practise launching, get a feel for driving on FULL slicks and see if i can get my 60ft down from my previously horrible 2.1...lol

I forgot to add that I ran 12.84 @110mph with a best ever 60ft of 1.94

Great build keep that fwd power and torque steer coming . Surprised you didn't have trouble with the stock distributor dying out/failing. What are you rpm's are you shifting at?

I managed to get the civic re-tuned for boost per gear on Thursday night...
made a easy and healthy 314kw on 14.7psi @ 8500rpm

to answer ur question limiter is set at 8700rpm

atm, stock ignition system is holding up fine with the thicker leads, I have however started buying coil pack system for the not to distant future...

Great stuff and power output too you got to love the after market availability for the Honda's and B series engines. When i saw the pic of the s2000 seats i was like don't tell me they were a straight bolt on haha. I would secretly buy a s2k but i would get to much **** from family members and the Mrs for driving a hairdressers car.

Any others mods to come power or weight reduction?.
